PARAHYANGAN GOLF, Bandung, Indonesia
Parahyangan Golf Bandung IndonesiaIncomparable visual drama is one of the great strengths of this 18-hole championship golf course. Located on a spectacular landform, the course flows along the deeply incised ravines and lake edges of Lake Saguling and climbs onto the flanks of surrounding mountains offering commanding views of the valley floor. The course also features a highly-strategic layout featuring multiple lines of play on virtually every hole. Parahyangan Golf is a key component of Kota Baru Parayhangan, a carefully planned, mixed-use development spreading over an area of 1,250 hectares. This award-winning “new city” is home to over 2,200 residences, schools, shops, restaurants, hospital and water park. Opening is planned for early-mid 2018.

Atutthaya Golf Club ThailandLocated near the ancient capitol of Bangkok this big, bold golf course is being sculpted into a landform of rice fields and canals. The layout is designed as a “stadium course” incorporating large elevated viewing areas and a length of 7,600 yards for the expressed purpose of hosting major tournaments. Sweeping topography with elevation changes of 15 meters are being achieved primarily by lowering the site’s existing water table. This method of achieving bold movement on flat land was first used at Rajpruek Club, a sister course to Ayutthaya located in Bangkok. The course is scheduled for opening in 2018.

Suvarna Jakarta Golf Club IndonesiaBlessed with an excellent location inside the city of Jakarta this entirely new 27-hole championship golf course is presently being constructed on the site of the old Halim 2 golf course. With the exception of location, the new layout shares nothing with the original 18-hole military course. The design style of Suvarna Jakarta is best described as Indonesian ‘links’. Elements such as riveted bunkers, burns (walled canals), large green complexes and highly strategic bunkering are borrowed from the historic links courses. These elements are married with the best of the Indonesian landscape including majestic trees, water in all its forms and the colorful, native landscape palette. One of Survarna’s most striking features is the ‘Elysian Field’. The Field integrates three par 5 finishing holes into a broad landform with shared fairways, cross bunkering, meandering burns and dozens of possible lines of play. The course is scheduled to open in 2018.

Greatwall Golf Club Hole #9

The 36-hole golf complex is dramatically and sensitively routed along an urban river corridor south of Beijing. The Wetland and Parkland courses will offer varied settings and golf experiences. Additionally, a meandering trail system provides alternative recreational opportunities to view this restored wetland eco-scape.

The setting for the 18-hole resort golf course is as the name suggests…Shangri La. Located near the famous “World Culture Heritage” site of Juizhaigou Valley Scenic Spot in western Sichuan Province the course is scheduled to celebrate the Grand Opening in 2018. A new Banyan Tree Resort Hotel will overlook the golf course surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of this high mountain alpine plateau reminiscent of the Alps.

PAHG&CC Proposed Hole 7 VisualizationPALO ALTO HILLS GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB, Palo Alto, California
The 18-hole, par 72 layout which incorporated in 1958, offers spectacular sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay and is located next to the 500-plus acre Arastradero Open Space Preserve. JMP is working closely with the membership and key staff to create a Renovation Master Plan that addresses short and long-term interests for the private club. The club is faced with the immediate need to selectively remove diseased Monterey Pines and continue a program to reduce irrigation use, including turf reduction, in light of the on-going drought in the greater region now entering the 4th year. The Renovation Master Plan will provide a clear vision that guides the transformation of the course from a parkland, tree-lined style to a more ‘rustic’ and open character that is in greater harmony with the open space preserve.

CITRA RAYA GOLF CLUB, Jambi, Indonesia
This new 18 hole golf course is a recreational component of Citra Raya City, a 645 hectare (1,580 acre) mixed use development located in the city of Jambi, on the east coast of Sumatra. The Project will include shopping center, business park, hotels, hospital, schools, water park and a wide variety of housing. The project is being developed by Ciputra, one of the largest and most successful property developers in Southeast Asia.

JMP is providing our world-class renovation consulting services on numerous projects throughout the world. The projects range from the renovation of a single course feature, developing turf reduction programs, to the creation of Long Range Master Plans and the total redesign and reconstruction of the entire golf course. Domestically we have projects that are located in California, North Carolina and Virginia. International markets include Brazil, China, the Philippines, the Middle East, Mexico and Southeast Asia.
